Christine Joy Luarca, a compassionate former employee of a financial company for seafarers, took a bold step — creating a supportive Facebook community called Kabaro Seaman’s Loan.

Christine began her career at a financial company specializing in maritime loans. Witnessing firsthand the difficulties seafarers faced, she resolved to build something better — a system built on trust, empathy, and genuine care.

To apply for the loan, provide the following. No originals needed — a clear photo is enough!

POEA Contract- Passport and Seaman’s Book (SIRB)
- E-Registration
- Tatak ng huling sakay sa SIRB
- 2 Valid IDs (Seafarer)
- 2 Valid IDs (Co-borrower)
- Proof of Billing
- Marriage Contract (If Married)
